Coming Soon: Smarter Water Meters to Help You Save and Stay Informed

Starting Monday, August 4th, Sienna MUD #10 will begin installing new digital water meters in your neighborhood — giving you better insight, control, and peace of mind over your home’s water use.

Why This Upgrade Matters to You

Your new smart water meter will do much more than just track usage. It’s designed to help you:

  • Stay on top of your water use with real-time data and easy-to-read graphs
  • Catch leaks early with customizable alerts that notify you of unusual usage patterns
  • Save money by helping you use water more efficiently
  • Access insights anytime, anywhere with the free EyeOnWater smartphone app and secure online portal and start exploring your usage trends.

What to Expect During Installation

  • No cost to you – The new meter is fully covered by the District.
  • Quick process – Water will be temporarily turned off for about 15 to 30 minutes during the swap.
  • No need to be home – Installations happen Monday–Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Professional crews – All installers from Accurate Meter & Supply will carry ID badges.
  • Post-installation tip – Run a cold-water faucet for 3–5 minutes to flush your line.

Questions You Might Have

Will my bill go up?

Possibly. Older meters can underreport usage, so newer, more accurate readings may reflect actual water use more precisely.

When will I have access to the EyeOnWater Portal?

After the change out process is complete for the entire district, Sienna MUD #10 will send out a communication to the residents informing them of the next steps to set up their account.

What if there’s a problem with the new meter?
