Sienna Municipal Utility District No. 2 has been annexed, effective August 21, 2023, and dissolved, effective December 19, 2023, by the City of Missouri City.

As of December 19, 2023, all services previously provided to residents by the District, including water, sewer, drainage, and trash collection services, will be the responsibility of the City of Missouri City.

Due to the annexation and dissolution, the Sienna Municipal Utility District No. 2 will not levy a property tax for 2023.  If you have an escrow agreement related to your mortgage, please notify the mortgage company that Sienna Municipal Utility District No. 2 will not levy a 2023 property tax.  The City of Missouri City will have the authority to levy a 2024 property tax on property within the former boundaries of Sienna Municipal Utility District No. 2.
